How to Make a Bigger Render on a Newtek Layout

Newtek is the maker of the Lightwave, which is a 3-D modeling, rendering and animation application. The process of rendering an image in Lightwave involves the program calculating what a scene you have created would look like given the lighting conditions and camera position you have specified. The default render image size in Lightwave is relatively small. However, it is easy to make this render size bigger, although keep in mind that bigger and higher resolution images take longer to render.

Start the Lightwave application. Select "File" from the menu at the top and click "Open." In the dialog that appears, locate and open a scene you want to render.

Hold down the "Shift" and "C" keys at the same time. This will open the "Camera" panel.

Change the "Width" and "Height" in the panel to what you want for the render. When you render, you will get this bigger size.
